Bags of Love

These lovingly crafted bags are made especially for young people who have experienced some trauma in their life. Most do not have a thing to their name. So volunteer Lynn S. has compiled a special love gift that can be given to these needy kids. She has been compiling them in her basement. Today she brought in quite a pile of them to be given to an agency in Indiana.

Here Lynn visits with Sylvia from Specialized Alternatives for Families and Youth of Indiana.

Each bag can be personalized for the recipient.

Store director Laura M., adds a bag to the trunk. Each bag contains: Toothpaste, toothbrush, comb, brush, shampoo, conditioner, body powder, bath soap, plastic cups, stuffed toys, blanket, pillow, sketch pad, coloring book, pen, pencil, colored pencils, crayons, water colors (in some bags depending on the age range of the activity book) and note pad. Now each child can have something to call their very own. Thanks Lynn for caring so much for these needy children.
